Omar Rajaratnam is a communications expert supporting the incubation, acceleration and relaunching of digital media start-ups in Sri Lanka and Asia. He specializes in the creation of public interest content for marginalzed communities and supporting business viability of of start-ups. He is the co-founder of Factum - an Asia and Asia-Pacific focused think tank on tech engagement. He was formerly Sri Lanka’s Country Manager for International Media Support Denmark and previously the Head of Media at the US Embassy to Sri Lanka and Maldives.
