Sala della Vaccara
La Sala della Vaccara si trova nel lato nord del Palazzo dei Priori, nell’area ove sorgeva l'antica chiesa di San Severo. Fu realizzata attorno al 1339 ed è stata sede del primo archivio comunale. La sala si presenta con volte a crociera e costolature e al suo interno rimangono brani di affreschi raffiguranti santi protettori dei traffici commerciali e delle attività artigianali. Sulla parete di fondo è collocato un distacco di affresco raffigurante la Madonna con Bambino e Santi di Tiberio di Assisi (Scuola umbra del XV Sec.).
Carlos Fernando Chamorro
Carlos Fernando Chamorro is the founder and director of Confidencial (1996), a Nicaraguan media outlet focused on producing quality journalism in multimedia formats and serving the public interest. He also founded the TV programs Esta Semana (2000) and Esta Noche (2006). He was the director of the daily newspaper Barricada between 1980-1994 and a reporter for the daily newspaper La Prensa between 1978 and 1979.He has been a Knight Fellow at Stanford University (1997-1998) and a visiting professor in the journalism master’s program at the University of California Berkeley (1998-1999). His work has received numerous awards, including the 2009 Freedom of Expression in Iberian America Award, granted by Casa America Catalonia, the 2010 Maria Moors Cabot Prize awarded by Columbia University’s Journalism School, and the Ortega y Gasset Award for a lifetime of achievement in journalism, presented in 2021. Pu Ying Huang
Pu Ying Huang is the director of photography at The Texas Tribune in Austin, where she works with a vast network of freelancers across the state on news assignments and photo stories. She has overseen visual coverage of the Uvalde school shooting, the overturning of Roe V. Wade and tension on the U.S.-Mexico border. Before joining the Tribune, she photographed as a freelance journalist in Houston, TX and Bogotá, Colombia. Huang has documented Hurricane Harvey's catastrophic flooding, protests that followed the murder of George Floyd and the plight of Venezuelan migrants fleeing economic and political crises. Her work has appeared in Reuters, Al Jazeera English, VICE, ProPublica, NBC News and NPR, among others. Huang is also an appointed board member and national co-chair of the clips contest at the National Press Photographers Association.
Charlotte Maher
Charlotte Maher is the social media editor for Bellingcat. An investigative journalist and OSINT expert, she sits on Bellingcat’s editorial board overseeing all investigations. She recently wrote a guide for the public on how to be savvier online during misinformation surges. Her work also includes training journalists on using open source tools to help counter the spread of disinformation. In the past she has worked for the BBC and as an investigative reporter at the Bureau for Investigative Journalism. Charlotte holds a Master's degree in investigative journalism from the University of London.
Maria Salazar Ferro
Maria Salazar Ferro is the director of newsroom safety and resilience at the New York Times (NYT), where she leads a holistic, inter-departmental strategy to protect NYT journalists from online attacks. She is also president of the board of the ACOS (A Culture of Safety) Alliance and previously spent sixteen years at the Committee to Protect Journalists, most recently as the director of the Emergencies Department.
