Have you considered moving from a traditional newsroom to full-time creator journalism? This workshop provides attendees with an initial plan of action on when and how they might launch their independent careers as "news influencers" on Substack, YouTube, Instagram etc. While you may recognize prominent journalists like Taylor Lorenz and Johnny Harris who have made the leap, this session breaks down the process for anyone with a small to medium-sized following and an entrepreneurial spirit. The workshop will address the following:

> Your business: how do I make money?
> What successful creators do that traditional outlets don’t: how do I grow?
