Hiba Zayadin is a senior researcher in the Middle East and North Africa Division for Human Rights Watch investigating human rights abuses in Syria and Jordan. Previously at Human Rights Watch, Hiba investigated human rights violations in the Arab Gulf States. Prior to joining Human Rights Watch, Hiba served four years as editor of the Middle East and North Africa desk at IFEX, a global network of organizations working to promote and defend freedom of expression as a fundamental human right.
