In an era where smartphones have revolutionized storytelling, the Mojo Awards celebrate excellence in mobile journalism, which empowers more journalists to narrate stories from more corners of the globe. The awards recognize outstanding achievements across four categories:
> Mobile journalism
> Crisis reporting
> Documentary
> Rural voices
Winning mojo films will be showcased at this event, demonstrating high quality work indistinguishable from traditional cameras, followed by a judges’ panel discussion.

Il Palazzo dei Priori, o comunale, è uno dei migliori esempi d'Italia di palazzo pubblico dell'età comunale. Sorge nella centrale Piazza IV Novembre a Perugia, in Umbria. Si estende lungo Corso Vannucci fino a via Boncambi. È ancora oggi sede di parte del Municipio e, al terzo piano, della Galleria nazionale dell'Umbria. Deve il suo nome ai Priori, la massima autorità politica al governo della città in epoca medievale.

Rob Layton

Rob Layton is an Assistant Professor of Mobile Journalism at Bond University on the Gold Coast, Australia. His expertise has led him to work with and be published by Apple, Google, News Corp, and the ABC, among others. He was a career journalist before becoming a full-time journalism educator. He has trained journalists and producers in mobile journalism globally, including for the Australian national broadcaster’s flagship programs, as well as at Al Jazeera and News Corp. His mobile-made short documentaries have been awarded and screened in cinemas and events globally, including the United Nations Ocean Conference in Portugal, NAB in Las Vegas for the Mojo Awards, Melbourne Documentary Film Festival, Global Short Film Awards Cannes, Florida Surf Film Awards, and the San Diego Undersea Film Exhibit. Michelle Porter
Michelle Porter

Michelle Porter is a TV and Video Producer with over 30 years’ experience in the industry. She currently works for the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) an international financial institution and a specialized agency of the United Nations dedicated to eradicating poverty and hunger in rural areas of developing countries. She is responsible for commissioning, directing, and producing videos that show the positive impact of the work of IFAD’s investments in improving the lives of rural people. Michelle is one of the judges of the MOJO awards, specifically for the Rural Voices category, which is sponsored by IFAD. Previously she worked for the ITV breakfast show GMTV and Good Morning Britain and produced live coverage of major news events such as the UK and US elections, terrorist incidents in London and Belgium and the Health Star and Pride of Britain awards. She was the creator of ITV’s award-winning campaign 1 Million Minutes, now in its 8th year, encouraging viewers to pledge time to support people who are lonely.
