Miriam Wells is impact editor at The Examination, a global investigative public health newsroom. She leads a strategy to maximise the real world change sparked by the journalism by embedding impact thinking into every stage of the editorial process. Having seen first-hand the power of such an approach, she believes every newsroom which cares about impact should consider creating an impact editor role in their leadership team. Miriam will be in discussion with Richard Addy, co-founder and director of AKAS, about what an impact editor is and why it's so effective.
